This is an easy way to get engaged, doesn’t take up a lot of your time and doesn’t require any training; Contact Annette Royal via Scoutbook or at the front table at one of the Troop meetings to sign up for a BOR.

If you do nothing else, consider signing up as a MB counselor, especially for Eagle-required merit badges.  We never have enough counselors which not only slows down our Scouts’ rank advancement but also puts a lot of burden on the current counselors.  See instructions below on how to sign up. 

The SIC is the adult leader who is primarily responsible for overseeing the troop during an activity or event, ensuring the safety and smooth running of the program while acting as the primary decision-maker on site.  This does require both YPT and EIM training but can be a very rewarding experience.

Scouting is a scout-led program but does NOT function without the support of adult leaders/volunteers Please consider donating your time to keep the legacy of Troop 52 alive!

An Assistant Scoutmaster is an adult leader who helps the scoutmaster run a Boy Scouts of America troop. They are responsible for specific program duties, such as guiding patrols or advising scouts.
